Create my DVD is family owned and operated located in Bethel, CT. We take pride in producing high quality work that our customers will enjoy for years to come. I started 'Create my DVD' to help others save their family video's by transferring them to DVD, before they are lost forever. Before I learned about tape deterioration, I had my own tapes of my oldest daughter lost due to a flood. The tapes actually rusted and the video was lost forever. After a few years, I learned that the rest of my family video collection was at risk just sitting on a shelve! When I discovered that video tapes over 10 years old start to deteriorate rapidly even under the best conditions, I decided to put them on DVD (with backups) so I can rest easy knowing that my videos are safe and my children will be able to keep the memories for their children. Now we can help you rest easy too by preserving your family videos on DVD and all work is done on premises, so your videos will never get lost in the mail.

Our Company My experience has proven that the service we offer is NOT easy 'do it yourself' work. Even those off the shelf DVD Recorders produce marginal at best results, they can drop frames that cause the video to lose sync with the voice. I find this very annoying and will not tolerate this poor quality.
